Market overview by Energy Label class

Tumble dryers are one of the most energy-hungry appliances now common in our homes, with almost half of all UK households owning one.[1]

Currently, no tumble dryers available in the UK are energy efficient enough to be classed as  A+++. The most efficient models available have an A++ label and make up 1% of the current market. 67% percent of models are in the C class. [2]
